The Company


Pee Bee Management Services (Private) Limited, was incorporated in 1979, with the primary objective of introducing an array of Soft Disposable Tissue Paper products to Sri Lanka, and in 1980 launched Flora Tissues, which remains as the flagship brand, to date.


The Company started with a rented factory premises in the industrial zone in Ratmalana and by 1985, the company expanded the machine capacity in their very own premises with an infrastructure  to include Production, Storage and  a Distribution facility spanning over 70,000 square feet, in the Katuwana Industrial Zone in Homagama, and currently  has a work force of 320 employees.

The Company’s pioneering range of products under the Flora brand has become a mainstay, and account for a substantial 60 percent market share at present. The product portfolio includes a range of hygienic soft tissue products such as Toilet Tissues, Facial Tissues and Paper Hand Towels. In recent times, the line extensions have included, Paper cups, Paper Plates, Wet Wipes and similar products.


The Company has many opportunities, in making significant headway to the continuous growth of existing products and introduction of new products.

We have a dedicated senior management team that follows the company Vision, Mission statements and Quality Policy, to ensure that the brand management function is carried effectively. Our Human Resources Manager, in coordination with our Production, Marketing and Quality assurance managers, motivate their Team members to become brand champions. Thus we build our brand influenced by the decision makers around us. A devoted and hardworking research and development team is responsible for developing new products regularly.

Measuring brand performance is an integral part of the brand management policy, and a range of metrics is implemented to this end on a regular basis. The Company constantly measures brand performance by checking on market share, brand value, quality perception, brand awareness and brand price sensitivity.  The Company attains excellence in all aspects of its operations, so that it is able to confidently enhance its brand image. The marketing strategy focuses on understanding consumer requirements, creating customer value and building strong relationship with them.

The brand benefits from strong loyalty from consumers who consider Flora Tissue products to be unique, hygienic and innovative. The brand’s core strength lies in providing consumers consistent quality products that build a strong bond and satisfy their needs, which is mirrored by our high market share.

We strive to attain excellence in all aspects of our operations, especially Quality, so that we are confident in enhancing Brand image. The constant focus on quality objectives has resulted in being the only Company in Sri Lanka to be recognized by the Sri Lanka Standards institution, by their certification of the SLS mark for quality, and standardization, in this product category.
The Company, as owner of the brand, Flora Tissues, has been recognized by many different organizations, in Sri Lanka and globally as a Brand Leader, and has the honor of receiving certifications and awards, in their efforts to strive for achieving excellence in many aspects of their business and as a Brand leader in the category. Some of the milestones include:


  • Year 2006 to 2008 -  SLS product certification for Flora Tissue products.
  • Year 2011 -  “SUPERBRAND “ Certification- Sri Lanka
  • Year 2014 - APEA Award - Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards, Malaysia
  • Year 2015 -Award from Keels Super: Best Vendor in Tissue paper category. Sri Lanka
  • Year 2017 - BIZZ Awards 2017- World Confederation of Businesses, USA.
  • Year 2017 – ACE Awards –Top SME in Asia’ at the Asia Corporate Excellence and Sustainability Awards
